Hello!

My name is Concepcion Gonzalez. I am a graduate from the University of Texas-Pan American, where I earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. I also earned a Master’s in Library Science and a Master's in Education, in Curriculum and Instruction. I am an EC-12^th Certified Librarian as well as 4^th - 8^th ESL Generalist.

This will be my first year at A.P. Solis Middle School and my third as a librarian where just a few short years ago, I was teaching in a classroom. I know the importance of my role as a support for the curriculum, our students, staff and community. I am excited to be your librarian and support you in any capacity. I am a firm believer in everything a library represents. To me, a library represents knowledge and the power within each of us to learn and become life-long learners. I enjoy reading and I look forward to sharing my love of reading with all of you!

My name is Jessica Vega, I am a graduate from the University of Phonix, where I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology. I also earned an associates degree in Psychology at South Texas Community Collage. I am currently enrolled in the program Texas Teachers of Tomorrow preparing for my teaching certificate.

This will be my 10th year at A.P Solis Middle School as Librarian Assistant. I enjoy working with all our students and staff. I'm looking forward to connecting with you, whether its finding that just right book or helping with assignments or projects. This year promises to be exciting and I'm looking forward to an adventure with you all!
