A (Hubble) Tension Headache
When: March 1-3, 2021
Where: Online event
News:
Thanks to all the participants for making this such a wonderful workshop with lots of fruitful discussions!
About the workshop:
The aims of this workshop are to discuss the observational results that provide the current Hubble tension, the issues associated with these methods and possible solutions (Day 1), the theoretical developments related to the Hubble constant (e.g. modified theories of gravity, Day 2) before discussion the future of the topic and convening in a final, Grand Panel on Day 3 to debate the issues (both observational and theoretical) and try to establish which avenues of exploration may prove the most fruitful.
This workshop is organised by the Southampton Theory, Astrophysics and Gravity (STAG) Research Centre, a cross-faculty body which brings together high energy physicists, astrophysicists and astronomers.
By participating in this workshop you are expected to comply with the code of conduct.
