In summary, the role played by the biome in determining the life of fishers cannot be underestimated, as the survival, behavior, and population stability of fishers greatly depend on the environment in which they live. The best conditions for living are provided by forests, particularly deciduous and coniferous forests, where there are many food supplies, good shelters, and proper ecological conditions. This can be seen from the presented charts.
This study also highlights specific behaviors of fishers, which are shaped by the habitat that they live in. The most notable behavior of fishers is that they are the most active in the mornings and peak their activities from January to April. It can therefore be said that both the type of the forest as well as the seasons affect the activity of fishers.
Although fishers can be found in other biomes, they do not have to die in those conditions, but it is more difficult for them to survive there. Being deprived of the dense vegetation and food sources available in the forest, fishers might have problems with hunting and avoiding danger. In conclusion, one can state that the results of research prove that the biome and habitat have a significant influence on the survival of fishers.
