The Rockabilly Ruckus is a public classic car event that we go to every year in August. We take our vintage sprint cars out on the dirt track during the event. For more information about the Rockabilly Ruckus, go to rockabillyruckus.com/. Come out and enjoy the show!

Former shop owner and car owner Ralph Mercer built this car by hand for Tim Stillion to follow him around in the 25 sprint car in the AARA in the late 1980s. This car has a 1940s Ford straight six flat head motor in it.

Former shop owner and car owner Ralph Mercer built this car by hand in the early 1970s. It is a Replica of a 1930s sprint car. It has a 1941 Ford Mercury flat head motor in it. When I say "Made by hand", I mean he made almost everything by hand. Hell, even the hood is part of a refrigerator!

The old time driver Doc Shanebrook built this car in 1939, with the first roll cage ever on a midget sprint car. The car was part of the AARA in the 80s/90s, the same time we were running our sprint cars in the group. The owner of it at the time was Frank Schnierle. We are honored to welcome it to our racing team in 2019. Hopefully, we’ll get it ready in time to go out on the dirt track at the Rockabilly Ruckus. We hope to see you there!
