Dr. Sumaiya Shomaji is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Kansas. Her area of expertise lies at the intersection of applied machine learning and image processing/computer vision in various domains of the internet of things, especially, biometric authentication, wearable healthcare system, and blockchain for authentication and supply chain management.
