Take a 👁️ peek 👁️
into the Art Studio!

I'm getting excited for the upcoming school year with a freshly repainted art studio space and a new SMART board. Huge thanks to the maintenance staff and IT staff for working on these improvements this summer!

With the new year there are also a few new classes on the schedule. I've been working on new lesson plans and projects that I think New Lebanon students will really enjoy and be successful in.

I plan to use the website a little less, this year, but you can still expect a few updates with student work and event information (like the year-end Art Show). For now, check out photos of the updated room setup below and find the 2026-27 Classes page for details on class supply lists and more.

I can't wait to see all of my students in the studio soon! 👋

The last few weeks of the school year were quite busy, so I didn't keep up on this website as much as I would've liked. There are some great photos of the art show, student art work, and students in creative action that I look forward to sharing (maybe over the Summer).

In the meantime, I want to thank all of the students who made my first year (well, half year) at New Lebanon really special. It was a lot of fun and am so excited to return to the Art Studio in Room #218 again next year!

Have a great Summer! ☀️

The end of winter flew by and it's hard to believe we're in the 4th semester, well into Spring! All classes are working on exciting work and we can't wait to show you some of it, as we partner with the (amazing) New Lebanon Junior & Senior High School Music Department to present "Night of the Arts" - a Spring Concert and... Art Expo!

All Art students will have work showcased and will be expected to attend; we encourage all New Lebanon community members to join us for a really entertaining evening, celebrating our students' talent and hard work.

There's a lot going on in the art room! Click HERE to check out some finished projects!

When students return from Winter Break, we'll focus on showing effort to create high quality work. For many students, this will mean slowing down. Students should work on projects for multiple days, being thorough and thoughtful in each step.
