Aaro is a 23-year-old sound designer, composer and game developer based in Helsinki, Finland. He has recently graduated from Metropolia UAS, where he studied film and television focusing on sound design, blending his passion for auditory experiences with a deep love for storytelling. Since then he has pivoted towards game audio, working on award winning student game projects, virtual reality environments and an interactive installation for the Amos Rex museum. In 2025 Aaro worked with Housemarque, creating and editing audio-visual marketing materials for the game SAROS.
Beyond his professional ambitions, Aaro dreams of publishing a book one day. Fascinated by space, art, stories and the human condition, he seeks to explore the boundaries of creating, conjuring experiences that resonate on both emotional and intellectual levels. A firm believer in independent thinking and the power of nuance, Aaro is driven by a desire to better himself each day, both physically and mentally.
When not designing sounds, he enjoys reading, writing, fitness, and exploring new creative outlets. With a vision to someday cultivate a small permaculture garden, Aaro's life blends creativity, growth, and curiosity in both his professional and personal pursuits.
