Upon leaving, you are put into reserve status. You may rejoin the unit whenever you want and will be given the next highest position you previously held.

1. 1. 1. A) After 1 year of not being in the unit, you will have to start over at CR

While under the influence of any alcohol or drugs your actions will be judged as if you were sober.

You are responsible for your account. If your account is found breaking any rules you and your account will be held 100% responsible and there will be no exceptions to this. (No excuses of being hacked or siblings messing around on your account, etc).

Do not go over to any other Arma 3 Unit (StarSim or not) and advertise the 9th with the intent to poach members from that Unit. We have a reputation to uphold and members poaching people from other Units within Arma 3 will not help us to uphold that.

Name changes will be limited to once every 6 months. Names changes can be denied and are not guaranteed.

Do not argue,disrespect,and use slurs/hate speech towards anybody in any way in any of they unit’s communications

1. 1. 1. A) Examples include: Teamspeak, Discord, and In-Game

The distribution, post or talk of the follow are prohibited in any of the unit’s communications

1. 1. 1. A) Not Safe for work

      2. B) Gore

      3. C) Distressing images

      4. D) Any images/videos showing traumatic human events such as:

         1. 1. 1. I) War videos

               2. II) Accidents

               3. III) Traumatic events

               4. VI) etc.

Hot-micing without an attempt to fix it or stopping after being told is a DA able offense.

1. 1. 1. A) Hot-micing is defined as the constant transmission of the microphone

Use all Discord channels for their purpose.

Once a member has left their position, their access to position related channels is to be removed. No one is to have special access to any channel that aren’t relevant to them

Do not change the teamspeak/discord channel name/description to anything that contains:

1. 1. 1. A) Political content

      2. B) NSFW

      3. C) Slurs

There will be a 2 week ban of any major story spoilers upon the release of any movie, game, etc.

1. 1. 1. A) Discussion is allowed, just try not to spoil for others who join the channel

The distribution of any harmful links are prohibited. Examples below:

1. 1. 1. A) Malware

      2. B) Phishing links

      3. C) IP grabbers

      4. D) Etc.

Subchannels are allowed, but must be temporary and made for a specific purpose other than personal seclusion. Acceptable subchannels are as follows : to divide a channel for sake of PVP, discuss a side topic during a congested meeting, or to denote current event in the channel title 

Locked channels are not allowed unless necessary for important private discussion, furthermore locked channels must possess more than one member

Department channels are for business only! Do not idle in a department channel. 

Squad channels should only be used for organization or squad related discussion. Idling in squad bays are not allowed. 

Move AFK members to the AFK channels whenever possible. 

Don't move people to different channels without their consent or justified reasoning such as AFK, hot mic etc. 

2. 1. 1. A) Moving members to different channels without their permission is prohibited. The following are the exceptions to the rule

               2. II) Hot mic

Joining channels for the sole purpose of advertising a skirmish/fun-op is prohibited.

8. Cocking / firing or any other use of sounds from IRL firearms is strictly forbidden on the teamspeak. 

Unit Members are allowed to have Visitors on the TS under the following conditions:

2. A) Visitors must abide by Unit rules

3. B) Must be accompanied in channels at all times

4. Senior NCOs are able to administer up to, but no more, than a 10 minute ban to any member if they are doing the following:

   1. 1. A) Excessively hot micing and refusing to fix it (only after either being moved to the 'fix your hot mic' channel or receiving force push to talk).

      2. B) Using excessive sound boarding after being clearly told to stop (outside of the 9th radio channel).

      3. C) Once the member returns from their ban, it is at the SNCO's discretion as to whether the offence should be followed up with disciplinary action.

Do not create/change any TeamSpeak channel names to anything NSFW.
