TPE is the main International Airport in Taiwan. The airport is about 150 km from Taichung City. The fastest way to travel to Taichung City is via Taiwan High-Speed Rail (HSR), but you need to first take the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) to get from the Airport to the HSR station.
Recommended route:
From TPE Airport, take Taoyuan Airport MRT from Terminal 1 (A12) or Terminal 2 (A13) to Taoyuan HSR Station (A18) (Sounthbound). Fare: 30 TWD; Time: ~15 minutes.
Take High-Speed Rail from Taoyuan HSR Station to Taichung HSR Station (Southbound). Fare: 540 TWD; Time: ~35 minutes.
Take Taxi from Taichung HSR Station to Hotel/venue. Fare: ~350 TWD; Time: ~30 minutes - 1 hour depending on traffic.
Alternative route: (simple and more comfortable, but costly and usually slower)
From TPE Airport, take Taxi directly to Hotel/venue. Fare: ~3000-4000 TWD, ~2-3 hours depending on traffic.
Note: There are also buses that go to Taichung City. While cheaper, buses are slower and the system is a bit complicated. Not recommended for first-time travelers.
TSA is small airport and relatively easy to navigate. Once you leave the customs, you will see the exit directly in front with Taxi services and also entrance to the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system. You can take a Taxi to Taipei Main Station, and then take the High-Speed Rail (HSR) to Taichung, then take a Taxi from HSR Taichung station to the Hotel/venue.

Take High-Speed Rail from Taipei Station to Taichung HSR Station (Southbound). Fare: 700 TWD; Time: 50-60 minutes (faster for express trains).
Take a Taxi from Taichung HSR Station to the Hotel/venue. Fare: ~350 TWD; Time: ~30 minutes - 1 hour depending on traffic.
Alternative route: (cheaper but more complicated and you need to walk a bit. Not recommended if you travel with heavy luggage)
From TSA Airport, take Taipei MRT Wenhu Line from Shongshan Airport (BR13) to Zhongxiao Fuxing Station (BR10) (Bound for Taipei Zoo), then change to Bannan Line to Taipei Main Station (BL12) (Bound for Dingpu). Fare: 25 TWD; Time: ~30 minutes.
Take High-Speed Rail from Taipei Station to Taichung HSR Station (Southbound). Fare: 700 TWD; Time: 50-60 minutes (faster with express trains).
Take Taxi from Taichung HSR Station to Hotel/venue. Fare: ~350 TWD; Time: ~30 minutes - 1 hour depending on traffic.

RMQ is a smaller airport with limited international flights. Once you leave the customs, go to B1 and take a Taxi to Hotel/venue. Fare: 700~1000 TWD; Time: ~40 minutes - 1 hour depending on traffic.

08:20 Bus leaves for China Medical University. You can leave your luggage on the bus.
12:40 Bus leaves for Chongde New Palace Restaurant (崇德新天地餐廳) for farewell lunch.
15:00 Bus leaves for (1) China Medical University (中國醫藥大學), then (2) Taichung HSR Station (台中高鐵站)*.
*If you are leaving via Taichung Airport (RMQ), it is recommended that you take a Taxi from Chongde New Palace Restaurant (崇德新天地餐廳) to RMQ.
