Hello everyone!

Have you seen your peers demonstrating traits of the IB Learner Profile? Because now you can nominate them for the MDID Discovery Award through the link below!

The MDID Discovery Award is an award honoring students who excel in the IB learner profile. Those who are awarded will receive a certificate and small gifts.

For online nominations, please finish your nominations before this Friday (March 29) at 23:59. Be quick if you want your nomination to be considered for this round! (There will also be another round of award this semester, so be on the lookout for outstanding actions from your peers.)

Printed nomination forms will also be available from your homeroom teachers and the 9F admin office. For those who wish to submit in paper, please give the nomination form back to your homeroom teacher before this Thursday (March 28).

Please note that the nominations will be accessed by the Student Council and teachers so please take it seriously and be as detailed as possible in your reasonings.

Boy Basketball Tournaments/

Hey everyone! We're excited to announce that the Boys' Basketball Match is coming next week from Feb 18 to Feb 22! We will be holding the match on the 11F basketball court during the lunch break (12:30pm - 01:15pm). The arrangements of the match is as the attached. Here are some important reminders:

1. Please be on the 11F basketball court by 12:30pm if you have a match that day.
2. It is recommended that you familiarize yourselves with your team members prior to the game for better team performance.
3. The winners will be determined by the number of games won.
4. Students who are put in guidance and tutorial halls should inform 1001 Max at least a day before the match so that proper adjustments can be made in time. Failure to do so may result in *automatic loss of game*.

Boy Basketball Tournaments/

Hi!

We're going to be hosting a boys basketball tournament on the 11th floor from 1/16~1/18 (the last three days of this semester) during the lunch break at 12:35~1:20. The registration will be online (through a google form), and will start at 12: 50 on 1/7 (Monday).

There is a maximum quota for 35 people this time, those that sign up afterwards will be put on the waiting list, in which you can substitute players that are disqualified from the game (method explained below). Please be ready on the 11th floor if you're on the waitlist and still want to participate (you will be called upon for substitution base on the order of registration). Sign up early for the chance to express yourself!

The results of the registrations and programs will be published before the games.

Reminder: If you have guidance or tutorial hall on any day of the basketball tournaments, you will be disqualified from participation this time. Finish your work and don't be naughty!

Board Game Room/ November 15, 2018

Hello guys! Our Board Game Room will start next Monday!(11/19)

We've talked about some rules about the board game room and the way to sign up for it during the morning assembly. A more detailed information is provided on the home page, please check it out if you have any questions! Here are some essential information you should know before signing up the board game room:

• The game room is for everyone. However, a reservation is still needed a week in advance.
• The list of the students who have signed up successfully will be updated on 9 pm each Sunday.
• The halls are still the priorities, you must attend them even if you are one of the people on the schedule.
