Stephen graduated from Clearview High School in 1992 where he played offense, defense and special teams for the school's football team. He converted to Catholicism on Easter Sunday 2004 and he attended Mass regularly at the Southern Lights Chapel located on the base. Stephen was active with the Youth Group and the Boy Scouts as well as being a member of the Knights of Columbus. In addition, he was very skilled as a handyman in electrical and plumbing work. Stephen is lovingly survived by his wife, Maria; his sons, Omar and Victor; his parents, William and Shirley Sutherland; his sister, Tracy Gilman; his brother, William Sutherland, III and his wife Sandra, his brother-in-law Daniel Rowe; his nephews, Michael Rowe, John Rowe, Daniel Rowe, Aaron Gilman and Alexander Gilman; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rita and Jose Chavez. Pratt who passed away suddenly Thursday, November 3, 2005 in An Nasiriyah, Iraq while serving his country. Dan was born on December 12, 1956 in Camden, New Jersey and was the son of James H. and Madeline E. (Oldrati) Pratt Sr. and moved to Austintown, OH 20 years ago. He was a 1976 graduate of Williamstown High School, where he lettered in Cross Country, played Indoor and Outdoor Track, and played freshman football. Dan was Freshman Class President and was president of Key Club. Dan attended William Faulkner Jr. College and South Eastern Louisiana College. Dan was employed prior to deployment as a service foreman at Fyda Freightliner in Austintown for the last seven years. He was currently serving in Irag as a Sergeant First Class with the 211th Maintenance Company, 129th Logistics Task Force of the Ohio Army National Guard. Dan was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal on August 31st 2005 for excellent leadership towards the Company. He was due home on December 9, 2005. Dan was a member of St. Christine Catholic Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 3298 of Austintown, and the American Legion Post #301 of Austintown. Dan was also an assistant soccer coach for St. Christine School. Dan wed the former Linda J. Selitski on November 7, 1985 in Sea Side Heights, New Jersey. Dan and Linda would have celebrated their 20th Wedding Anniversary this past Monday. Blackshear Jr., 55, of Pittsgrove passed away suddenly on Monday, Sept. 12, 2005, in Bridgeton. He was a 1967 graduate of St. Augustine Preparatory School in Richland. Hamilton served in the United States Marines for three years. He was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Rosenhayn for many years. Hamilton was a service manager at Positive Service Co. for 22 years. He then moved on to become a slot technician at Trump Casino for 10 years. Hamilton currently was employed as slot shop technician for Resorts International and also worked at Our Lady of Mercy Academy, where he enjoyed his position as a computer technician. Hamilton was a former Boy Scout leader, who enjoyed all outdoor activities, including hunting, camping and rafting. He loved to dance, shoot pool and was an avid Eagles fan. Mrs. Kowalski served as a referee for field hockey and basketball.
