CZN Burak is from Turkey and has lived in Dubai for three decades. His dedication to tradition and quality has led him to be one of the country’s most popular chefs with a strong following in both his native country, Turkey, and across the Middle East. His dishes are very innovative with a twist on traditional Turkish tastes that make CZN an exciting chef!

CZN Burak says that his food is based on Turkish cuisine, but he is not afraid to create something new. He does not stick to recipes and he likes to search for new products. His goal is to catch the eye of the customer and make them want to come back again . CZN Burak operates from the Cinnamon Teppanyaki restaurant, which specializes in a selection of teppanyaki dishes cooked in front of guests at their tables on the teppanyaki grills.

CZN Burak has been running his own restaurant for 15 years. He is continually opening up a new restaurant that includes a teppanyaki area and an atmospehere where the guest feels as though they are in Europe.

Burak’s cooking career began at the age 17 when he served Turkish kebab in his hometown, Denizli. Burak has won many prestigious awards in Italy, France, and Dubai. He has been called the most talented chef in Dubai. CZN Burak is a very well-known chef in Turkey.

Chef Burak was the first Turkish chef who introduced Japanese cuisine to the Middle East. He studied Japanese cuisine in Tokyo before opening his first restaurant in 1986 at the age of 24. His second restaurant - Denizli, was opened four years after his first restaurant with a more upscale approach and more refined style of cooking. In 1993, he opened a restaurant named “Kebapci” in Dubai and started working for Spice Isle Hotel, a five-star hotel at the time. In 1995, he was appointed head chef of the Oriental at Emirates Towers Hotel. He has continued to work as a consultant for several five-star hotels and has designed menus for them.
