Danny Brazenell is a Sevenoaks family man who knows from personal experience how harrowing a serious illness for a young one can be, both for patient and family. Danny's niece was treated for cancer a few years back, prompting Danny to undertake a number of charity running activities in 2018. Ever since his niece's successful treatment, he has been motivated to give something back, and this time he is taking to the saddle for a gruelling 2500 mile cycle ride around all 92 national league football clubs.
A keen sportsman, Danny plays football for Sevenoaks Town and enjoys a round of golf when his busy schedule allows. Why so busy? Danny holds down a number of self-employed jobs including landscape gardening and taxi driving, making this challenge all the more remarkable given the income sacrifice as well as the gruelling physical experience. He is also a popular and much appreciated character around town; a community man who will help anybody in need.
Not surprisingly, Danny is extremely excited to be taking on this challenge and thanks everybody in advance for all the support coming in. From admin help, to cycling equipment sponsorship and social media support, family and friends are supporting Danny as he aims to express his deep-felt gratitude to GOSH... a truly amazing service structure that makes a daily difference to the lives of children and their families.
