How to Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly from within the app.
Follow these steps:
1. Open the app and ensure you are signed in to your account.
2. Tap the menu icon to open the side drawer.
3. Open Settings (your profile screen) and scroll down to the bottom.
4. Tap Delete Account (located below the Sign Out and Ad Privacy buttons).
5. A confirmation dialog will appear explaining that your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.
6. Tap Delete Forever to permanently delete your account.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you delete your account, all account data is immediately and permanently removed, including:
- Profile & Identity: Display name, username, bio, and your uploaded profile picture from cloud storage (Firebase Storage).
- Learning Progress: XP, levels, vocabulary memory (SRS data), lesson history, and streak records.
- In-App Economy: Gold, season keys, cosmetic inventory (unlocked avatar frames and themes), and daily usage quotas.
- Community & Social Content: Published community lessons, ratings, likes, saved lessons, follow lists, and notifications.
- Cloud Synchronization: All cloud records stored in Google Cloud Firestore and your Firebase Authentication credentials.
- Local Storage: All cached account data on your device.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Need Help or Cannot Access the App?
If you have already uninstalled the app or are unable to log in to delete your account in-app, you may submit a manual deletion request:
- Email: safeyeddine@gmail.com
- Subject: Lexio Account Deletion Request
- Please send the email from the Google account address associated with your Lexio account. We will permanently delete your account and all cloud data within 30 days.
