In January 2023, I joined a lovely server called SwanCraft, this server was a breath of fresh air to me. This is a server that all around respects it's playerbase and shines for it. After playing on the server for a month or so on February 23rd, 2023 I started pondering the question in the Swancraft discord about whether I should recreate the 909 Mall on the server. It only took less than 48 hours and the mall already had its entrance built! With the new mall, I created it in a way where there will always be a path to expandability in the least destructive way possible if need be. The expected opening date of this mall was sometime in April, but the project was finished way quicker than expected and opened on March 17th, 2023 at ~4 PM EST. On May 18th 2023, the 909 Mall officially became a warp on SwanCraft allowing the mall to be easily accessible to the whole server allowing it to become a common space on the server.

Throughout the Mall's life on Swancraft, It hosted many events and had numerous additions to create a very sophisticated complex in which many more events, festivities and holidays could be celebrated. The mall was doing exactly what I had envisioned from the start, creating a place in which the server's community benefited from having a space that hosted events and was a place where people could gather for any occasion.

With the mall proving it'self successful, I wondered and considered if I could do more with the concept. Eventually, I had the thought of making doing this same thing again for more servers, thus positively affecting more communities. So then, the 909 Malls brand was born! The 909 Malls are an expansion of the 909 Mall concept onto more servers than just the original Swancraft server. The goal of 909 Malls is the exact same as the original goals of the Swancraft 909 Mall. By creating more malls, this allows each mall to utilize the same practices and procedures that already work and adapting them slightly to fit each server's needs while maintaining a consistent high quality standard.
