Assar Lindbeck Medal

The Assar Lindbeck Medal for 2023 is awarded to Johanna Rickne, professor of economics at the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI) at Stockholm University, and Olle Folke, professor of political science at the Department of Political Science, Uppsala University, for their innovative research on gender equality and political economy. The award honors Assar Lindbeck's diverse and groundbreaking contributions to economic research and is presented every two years to a researcher under 45 years of age in Sweden who has made a significant contribution to economic thinking and knowledge.

On November 15, there will be an award ceremony and Johanna Rickne and Olle Folke will present their research.

The prize committee for the Assar Lindbeck Medal for the year 2023 consists of Professor Olof Johansson-Stenman (chairman), University of Gothenburg, Professor Lena Edlund, Columbia University, and Professor David Strömberg, Stockholm University.
