In today’s dynamic and rapidly transforming global context, arts and cultural practices are increasingly engaging with complex, multifaceted, and interconnected disciplinary terrains. Music, dance, theater, visual arts, and digital art forms are no longer confined within traditional disciplinary boundaries but are in constant dialogue with literature, language studies, philosophy, history, anthropology, religion, political science, education, indigenous knowledge systems, alternative medicine, commerce, science, and technology.
Contemporary critical theories—such as post colonialism, feminism, subaltern studies, ecological thought, and de-colonial frameworks—challenge and expand our understanding of the arts and their cultural implications. In this landscape, interdisciplinary inquiry becomes crucial for addressing the layered realities of artistic production, dissemination, and reception.
This international research conference aims to explore these rich intersections and foster conversations that illuminate the roles, challenges, and evolving forms of arts and cultural expressions in contemporary times.
