The doctoral school "Biologie Santé Biotechnologies (BSB)" of Toulouse organizes for the 8th consecutive year these « Journées des Doctorants » or PhD Students Days. On this occasion, the 2nd year PhD students and a few of 3rd year PhD students will present their work during oral presentations or poster sessions.
"Biology by young researchers"
The goal of these days is to reinforce the communication between PhD students and researchers who come not only from Toulouse, but also from other places in France and abroad. Spread over 2 days, this event will be composed of oral and poster sessions and conferences held by young but talented invited researchers. In the preceding years, speakers internationally recognized, coming from Marseille, Strasbourg, Bruxelles, Dijon, Bologna (Italy), Clermont-Ferrand, Paris, Lyon or Pamplona (Spain) have presented their original work. This years we receive Xavier Saulquin, Orane Guillaume-Gentil and Pierre-Yves Musso.
The PhD Students Days bring together around 200 participants each year including a hundred PhD students but also postdoctoral researchers, engineers and researchers coming from different fields of biology such as pharmacology, metabolic diseases, physiopathology, oncology, development biology, toxicology, structural biology, microbiology, immunology and many more.
