Welcome
We are very pleased to welcome you to 879 (Earl MacLeod) Wing of the Royal Canadian Air Force Association. Our goal, apart from those established by the association, is to bring together people who care about our veterans, our air cadets, and those who have contributed to Canada's aviation history.
Your fellow members are a diverse group of people; not all have served in the RCAF or have any other direct connection with aviation. What we mostly have in common is a wish to support each other, our veterans, and our cadets in 147 Airwolf Squadron.
We do not meet often for "business" meetings, but when we do, every one has a right to speak and make their views known.
RCAF Association
The RCAF Association is headquarted in Ottawa, ON. (We unofficially refer to it as "National"). Until last year, we had a quarterly magazine called "Airforce". Production costs forced us to resort to "digital" media that is available through the association website and can be read online.
Our elected National Chairperson is retired RCAF 31 year veteran pilot (Major) Henri Levasseur. He works with other members elected to the board of directors who are all dedicated to the success of our association. We employ an exective director, Brook Bangsboll (retired Lieutenant-Colonel) assisted by Khadjia Cutcher who take care of day-to-day association business.

We have a website, a Facebook page, and usually use our wing email address rcafa879wing@gmail.com to send out a "Wing Communique" to all members with email addresses. Note: The Facebook page is "public' and does not require visitors to have a Facebook account. If it wants you to sign in you can hit the X at the top right to bypass it.
