84 Soccer Training was inspired by the directors Carley, Cloey, and Kayla Uddenberg. The Uddenbergs grew up on the soccer field and have played at the college, semi-professional, professional and international levels. With 9 years of coaching experience, the goal of the Uddenbergs is to inspire and help players become confident so that they can take their game to the next level!
Cloey Uddenberg is a certified C Licence coach and one of the directors of 84 Soccer Training. She currently plays professionally in the Northern Super League for AFC Toronto and internationally for the St. Kitts & Nevis (SKN) Women’s National Team. She began playing soccer at the age of five and started coaching at just fourteen.
Cloey grew up playing for Aurora Soccer Club and later earned a spot on Team Ontario. During high school, she represented SKN Women’s National Team, competing in multiple CONCACAF tournaments and captaining the U20 SKNWNT. It was during this time that she also discovered her passion for coaching.
Cloey continued her post-secondary education and soccer career at the University of Guelph, where she studied Biomedical Science. In 2021, she was named U SPORTS National Rookie of the Year and earned Second Team All-Canadian honors. She later transferred to the University of South Alabama to compete in Division I NCAA soccer and finished her collegiate career at Purdue University. Cloey also played for Simcoe Rovers FC in League1 Ontario, where she was named Midfielder of the Year in 2023.
While Cloey loves playing the game, she is equally passionate about helping young players fall in love with soccer. She believes that determination and hard work can take you anywhere, both on and off the field. Cloey is committed to developing players’ skills and takes great pride in seeing them grow as athletes and individuals.
Carley Uddenberg, a C trained coach, is one of the directors of 84 Soccer Training. Carley started playing soccer at the age of 7. At the age of 11 Carley began playing competitively for the Richmond Hill Soccer Club. In high school, Carley got the opportunity to play for the St. Kitts and Nevis U20 Women's National Team (SKNWNT), where she then got called up to the Women's National Team playing in the Olympic qualifiers. Carley's love for the game continued into her post-secondary education as she signed with the Seneca Sting completing her degree in Child Development. Carley spent 5 years playing college soccer and captaining the team for 3 years. Within her time at Seneca, she won two silver and two gold Provincial medals, while also being named an All-Star in the 2023 Provincial tournament. Afterwards leading the team to the National Championships which the Seneca Sting were then named the first Ontario Women's College team to ever win a National Gold Medal. In the summer of 2023 Carley joined the Simcoe County Rovers FC.
Carley’s love for the game has grown throughout the years and has taught her many valuable lessons and the opportunity to meet individuals who have provided a positive impact in her life. Carley’s passion for the game has led her to coaching, and she believes that with consistency, hard work and resiliency anything can be achieved.
Kayla Uddenberg, is a coach for 84 Soccer Training. Kayla started playing soccer at the age of 5 and started volunteer coaching at the age of 16. Kayla is a new coach who has been developing/learning under the guidance of Carley and Cloey Uddenberg. The majority of Kayla's youth career was at Aurora Soccer Club and later continued to play for Simcoe County Rovers FC. At 15, Kayla started playing for the St.Kitts and Nevis Woman's National Team (SKNWNT) alongside her two sisters. She played at the national level at the Olympic qualifiers tournament in 2020 as well as numerous appearances in CONCACAF tournaments. Kayla recently started her post-secondary education at Seneca College where she is currently studying in the Veterinary Assistant program. After her first season playing, Kayla was named Second-team-all star, as well won Gold at the OCAA Provincial stage and was the first Ontario team to win Gold at the CCAA National stage.
With Kayla's strong love for the game, she is very excited to grow her coaching experience here at 84 Soccer. Kayla understands the impact a coach can have on player's lives and believes that 84 soccer training is a great environment for all young players.
