I'm not sure what the problem is, but then I've never tried using the default Windows 7 "extract all". I always use a 3rd-party extractor, on my new computer, PowerArchiver ( -2011/3000-2250_4-10030093.html), though I have used 7zip ( -Zip/3000-2250_4-10045185.html) and WinZip, which should not be confused with the built-in Windows extractor ( -2250_4-10003164.html), to extract the contents of zip files not matter where I download them. Just be aware that 7zip is the only one of those that is free. The other 2 are only free to try.

The same problem occurred with 7zip too. I can only successfully extract the files using WinZip. However WinZip is proprietary and my company wouldn't want to pay for it. The zip files were created by our clients, we don't know how they created them. The zip files are just several hundred KBs.

7zip Download Cnet

Download 🔥 https://geags.com/2y3YTL 🔥

The downloaded data file should have the suffix ".gz", such as "idhs_00001.dta.gz" (for a file in Stata format). This file needs to be decompressed. Mac OS X will decompress the file when you double-click it. Most Windows users will havesome type of application that unizips compressed files, but a significant number may not. If your Windows-based does not know how to decompress the file, you need to download decompression software. A free option is 7zip; other programs are also available.

As always, you will need a file compression program like Winrar or 7zip. For many years now, I have been using Winrar (Yes, I bought it. It serves me well). I do an obscene amount of downloading and it is very reliable. You can download Winrar and 7zip at cnet.com =hdr . Whichever one you use will depend upon your preference. If cost is a deal breaker just remember that 7zip is freeware. 2351a5e196
