VII Workshop in BioMathematics

The Workshop in BioMathematics is a meeting point for researchers, students, and professionals interested in applying mathematical and computational approaches to biological, biomedical, and health-related problems, within a multidisciplinary context.

The organization of such a workshop aims to:

• promote the exchange of scientific and technical knowledge among mathematicians, biologists, statisticians, and other researchers;
  
  

• disseminate recent results from funded research projects;
  
  

• foster interdisciplinary collaboration, which is essential to address complex challenges in biology, health, biostatistics, mathematical modeling, and related areas.
  
  

Based on this, the operational objectives of a well-structured workshop can be organized into four key dimensions: academic/scientific, training, networking, and impact.

The VII Workshop in BioMathematics is organized by the Thematic Line BioMathematics of the Center for Research & Development in Mathematics and Applications of the University of Aveiro, and is devoted to the results obtained through Bolsas de Investigação financed by Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia), through CIDMA - Center for Research and Development in Mathematics and Applications, by the Multi-Annual Financing Program for R&D Units (FCT, https://ror.org/00snfqn58).
