About Me

Hi, my name is Michael Lewis and I have been teaching since 2002.  I have a natural interest in Science and am excited about Teaching 7th grade Science here at Union 6th and 7th Grade Center.   

I have incorporated Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (S.T.E.M.) in my classes for many years.  In 2013, some of my students won First Place in Oklahoma in a National S.T.E.M. competition.  

In 2016, I was invited to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. to participate in STEM Teacher projects.  

In 2005 I was invited to NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas to participate in a workshop for Teachers focusing on S.T.E.M. Education.  

I have taught High School and periodically serve as an adjunct college professor.
