  4. Sportsmanship on and off the court.

Court Assignment

    1. The court assigned to a Player signed up on that night is determined by the player's all-time (Main) ranking on https://rankade.com/sunday-7-9-pm/ at the time.

    2. Doubles: Among the players who have signed up for the night's play, the top-ranked 4 players play on court 5 (highest rank court). The 4 players ranked from 5th to 8th play on court 6, so on so forth.

    3. Singles: Among the players who have signed up for the night's play, the top-ranked 2 players play on court 1 (highest rank court). The 2 players ranked lower play on court 2.

    4. Players court request. It is not permitted that players switch courts by themselves. Under unusal circumstances, a player may make a special request to the captain but a permission may not be granted and in general such a request is not encouraged.

New-Set Regrouping on Doubles Courts

      1. Assume the four players on a doubles court, with rankade ranking from high to low, are A, B, C and D. The players on the court will regroup to form new factions after each set.

      2. The plays of the first 3 sets will be A & D vs. B & C, A & C vs. B & D, and A & B vs. C & D.

      3. After 3 sets of playing, the players may freely form factions to continue.

Score Recording

    1. Doubles: The scores of the first 3 sets played on the night will be recorded on rankade. Each game will be with-ad.

    2. Singles: Scores of all completed sets played on the night will be recorded on rankade. Games will be with-ad.

    3. Unfinished set: An unfinished set (one of the first 3 doubles sets or one of the first 2 singles sets) is recorded with a winning side if one team is 3 or more games ahead at 9 PM for Doubles, or at 8:30 PM for Singles, otherwise it is recorded as a draw.

    4. Scores of recent matches played outside the 7Sun league time may also be entered in the Sunday 7-9 pm league on rankade.com, as long as all the players are members of 7Sun and everyone agrees to do so. Bigger data should be helpful for more accurate ranking.

Secure a Substitute Player and Court Fee Arrangement

    1. If a player cannot play on a slot he/she sign up, he/she is obligated to secure a substitute for the slot and for making the necessary updates of signup roster on signupgenius. The substitute's court assignment will be determined by his/her own rankade ranking.

    2. The substitute player shall pay $27.75 to the original owner of the slot for the play.

    3. If an emergency substitute player must be found in the last hours before the play, the sub-player shall not be responsible for the court-fee.
