Privacy Policy — Bill/Split

Last updated: October 8, 2026

“Bill/Split” (“the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your data.

The App does not collect any personal data.

1. No Personal Data Collected

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. No account or sign-in is required.

2. Local Storage Only

The App stores only your preferences (such as the divide/multiply key mode) locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us or any third party.

Camera and photos. This app can use your camera to take photos of bills, or to view a bill live through the camera ("Live") while you add it up. You can also select photos from your album. Photos you take or add are stored locally on your device only; they are not uploaded or transmitted to us or any third party, and you can delete them within the app at any time. Live view is display-only: it does not record, save, or transmit any images, and the camera turns off when you close Live, switch to the calculator, or leave the app. If you choose "Save to Album," the app only requires write access and will not read your existing photos. You can turn off camera access at any time in your device's Settings.

Clipboard. The copy/paste function accesses the system clipboard only when you actively perform the action; it does not retain or transmit clipboard contents.

3. No Data Collection

This app contains no advertisements and does not use any third-party analytics or tracking tools; it does not transmit any of your data to our servers.

4. Changes to This Policy

Any updates to this policy will be posted on this page.
