a To Do plan b
In the early 1980s I began drafting what I'd call my mission statement.
That document (which is rarely but occasionally revised) continues to be useful though I'll often fail to follow its guidance - which only increases its value.
I don't believe I've ever realistically (mentally & materially) been in a position where I could have bought and maintained a house with a garden. And my disappointing albeit minor internal chaos continues to manifest in repetitive foolishness & failures. But God does not tell me to abandon my seemingly delusional aim to build a cathedral.
Instead, I'm guided to believe there are some ways through which I could achieve at least a couple of objectives which might prove satisfactory before this life of mine comes to an end.
For example:
How much would it matter if my cathedral's just a story and not an edifice built in stone?
And for family & friends I could organise a few regular & enjoyable and hopefully memorable activities.
And, of course, there's always going to be some other stuff - listed in a subindex.
