This Privacy Policy describes how the 75 Hard Challenge App ("we", "our", or "the App") handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how your data is collected, used, and stored. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
The App does not collect or transmit any personal data to our servers or third parties. We do not require or collect your name, email address, contact details, or login credentials.
All data entered or generated by you is stored either locally on your device or, if you enable it, securely in your own Google Drive App Data folder.
To support the challenge experience, the App tracks the following information:
Your progress through the 75-day challenge (days completed)
Badges or achievements earned
Daily progress pictures (if added by you)
Body measurements such as weight and height (if entered by you)
This data is used strictly to provide functionality inside the App. It is not collected, monitored, or sent to us or any other external server.
The App includes an optional feature to back up your data to your own Google Drive account. This is intended to help you restore or sync your challenge progress across devices.
When enabled, the following data is backed up to the private App Data folder within your Google Drive:
Progress completion data
Earned badges
Progress pictures you take or upload
Body measurements (weight, height, etc.)
This folder is:
Not visible in your regular Google Drive interface
Not shared with any third-party services or apps
Only accessible to the App itself (via Android's secure Drive API)
Not accessible to us, the developer, at any point
You may delete the backup data at any time by either:
Using the app’s "Delete My Data" feature
The 75 Hard Challenge App provides an optional backup feature that allows users to save their complete challenge data to their own Google Drive account. When this feature is enabled, the App securely stores all relevant information—such as daily progress completion, earned badges, progress pictures, and body measurements like weight and height—in the user's private Google Drive space, specifically within the "App Data" folder. This folder is part of Google Drive’s protected storage area and is not visible or accessible through the regular Drive interface. It is used exclusively by the App for backup and restore purposes and cannot be accessed by any other app, user, or even the developer. The data stored in this location is encrypted and securely managed by Google’s infrastructure, ensuring that your information remains private and under your control. The App does not store this data on any external server, and the developer does not have access to view, retrieve, or manipulate this information in any way. Users may choose to disable this backup feature at any time, and they retain full control over the deletion of their backup data via their Google account settings. This backup process is designed to give users peace of mind by preserving their challenge progress across devices, while maintaining complete privacy and ownership over their data.
We do not retain or store a copy of your backup.
Progress photos and measurement entries (such as weight and height) are fully optional and used only for your personal tracking. These are:
Stored locally on your device or within your Google Drive if backup is enabled
Not uploaded to any external server
Not shared by the App unless you explicitly choose to share them
The App does not access your gallery or camera without your permission.
The App uses Firebase Analytics to understand general usage patterns. This includes:
Which screens are viewed
How long the App is used
Which features are tapped
This data is aggregated and does not include any personally identifiable information. It is used only to improve App functionality and performance.
The App displays advertisements through third-party ad networks such as Google AdMob. These networks may use:
Your advertising ID
Cookies or similar tracking technologies
This allows them to serve personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your preferences. The App itself does not transmit or share any of your challenge data with advertisers.
The App allows you to:
Export your challenge data as a PDF or image
Share your earned badges on social media apps such as WhatsApp, Instagram, or X (formerly Twitter)
These features are initiated manually by you. We do not automatically share any of your data or photos. Shared content is limited to what you choose to export.
The App includes links that may direct you to external websites or applications, such as:
The Privacy Policy (this page)
Google Play for rating the App
Email to contact the developer
These links are clearly marked. Once you leave the App via an external link, the terms and privacy policies of the external service will apply.
All user data is stored locally on your device or within your own Google Drive if you have enabled backup.
You can delete your data at any time by:
Using the “Delete My Data” option in the App settings
Uninstalling the App (local data will be removed)
Removing the App’s Drive data from your Google account
Once deleted, the data is not recoverable. We do not retain any copies.
The 75 Hard Challenge App requests only a limited set of permissions required to provide its core functionality. These permissions are used strictly for their intended purpose, and the App does not misuse or access any additional data beyond what is necessary.
Internet access is required to load advertisements through third-party ad networks, to perform Google Drive backup and restore functions, and to open external links such as the Privacy Policy or Play Store page. The App communicates only with authorized services and uses secure HTTPS connections to ensure data safety.
Notification permission (required on Android 13 and above) is used to send local notifications for daily challenge reminders. These reminders help users stay on track with their tasks. The App does not send push notifications through a remote server, and no personal data is used to trigger or customize the reminders.
Storage or media access may be requested to allow the App to save or display your progress pictures. This access is used only when you manually choose to add or view photos within the App. The App does not scan, collect, or upload any media files from your device without your knowledge.
Google Drive access is requested only if you enable the optional cloud backup feature. This permission allows the App to create and manage a private App Data folder within your own Google Drive account. The App uses this space to securely store your progress data, including challenge days, earned badges, photos, and measurements. This data is never visible to others and cannot be accessed by the developer.
All permissions are requested transparently and only when needed. You are free to deny any permission that is not required for the features you use. The App does not access sensitive data in the background, nor does it collect or share data beyond your device or your own Google Drive.
The App is intended for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect any data from children under this age. If we learn that we have received information from a user under 16, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
We use secure methods to protect your data:
All external connections use HTTPS encryption
Data stored in Google Drive is protected using Google’s security model
No one, including the developer, has access to your Drive backup
All sensitive actions (like deleting data or sharing content) require manual user action
We may update this Privacy Policy as needed to reflect changes in law, App functionality, or services used. The latest version will always be available within the App and will include an updated effective date.
Your continued use of the App after updates means you accept the new terms.
