The 71st Farm Youth (4-H) National Convention is another milestone for the 4-H Club of the Philippines to showcase the skills and talents of the young farmers and 4-H members in the country. Generally, It aims to encourage the 4-H member to apply their newly gained knowledge from the 4-H Talks and employ best practices shared by the 2023 winners of the National Excellent Achievers Award and outstanding 4-H Members and 4-H Coordinators. Specifically, the participants should be able to:
1. Present their exceptional accomplishments relevant to the growth and development of the youth in the agri-sector to be awarded as one of the 4-H National Excellent Achievers Awards (NEAA) and 4-H Outstanding Member and Coordinator;
2. Promote advocacies and projects of the 4-H Club with this year’s theme through video making, songwriting, and recycling of recyclable materials, and coconut-based cooking;
3. Discuss various agri-innovations that can be useful in solving specific agricultural problems; and
4. Explain different concepts on youth in agriculture, social entrepreneurship, agri-tourism, and mental health awareness of the youth.
Each region shall have the following delegates and can bring additional delegates provided that delegates will register on or before May 31, 2024 12:00 MN.
2. A registration fee of eight thousand pesos (8,000.00 php) is required inclusive of food (First Meal: June 18, 2024 - PM Snacks and Dinner, Full Board Meal for June 19-20, accommodation, transportation within June 18-20 (to and from the venue and accommodation), and souvenirs (shirt, tote bag, lanyard, and souvenir program).

4. Arrival and billeting of participants will be on June 18, 2024. For systematic and orderly registration, reservations of rooms and early billeting of participants is not allowed. Delegates should follow pre-rooming assignments.
5. During the convention proper, only the Regional Coordinator/ Focal Persons shall be allowed to transact and register their respective delegates. They shall be the only designated persons to collect and pay registration fees. Official receipts will be issued by the Secretariat to serve as passes for entering their assigned rooms. Please refrain from entering rooms when the participants are not yet and/or not duly registered.
Travel Advisory
A Special desk will be provided at the port arrival area for concerns and clarifications about the 71st 4-H National Farm Youth Convention.
Please make sure that your respective delegates are in good health and fit to attend. The organizers will not be responsible for any untoward incidents.
Minimum public health standards, which include physical distancing, hygiene, and wearing of face masks among others, shall be strictly implemented.
Dress Code
Observe the proper dress code during the whole duration of the event. Strictly, NO wearing of shorts, sando/sleeveless, and slippers.
Day 1 (June 18, 2024) – All delegates are required to wear formal attire (preferably Filipiniana at Barong or your Regional Attire; no maong pants, no t-shirt) for the Opening Ceremony.
Day 2 (June 19 2024) – Casual wear and 71st NatCon Shirt during Candlelight Ceremony.
Day 3 (June 20, 2024) – Casual wear; formal attire for the National 4-H Excellence Achievers Awardees and Most Outstanding Coordinator & Most Outstanding 4-H Member nominees.
Project Contests
Only bonafide 4-H Club Members (7 to 30 years old) are allowed to join in any of the Project Contests. The contestant must be in the 4-H membership profile compiled at the ATI-Regional Training Centers.
The contestant must be a member for at least (1) year before the conduct of the Convention. The ATI 4-H Focal Person shall certify the eligibility of their respective regional contestants duly noted by the ATI-RTC Center Director.
