So glad to have this copycat recipe (although you forgot the pickle juice!) so I can use a substitute oil. My daughter is severely peanut allergic, and she reacted to Chick-Fil-A nuggets, even though CFA claims that highly-refined peanut oil is safe. So now I can make them at home by substituting coconut oil!

I would love to get my son away from the store bought nuggets. They are one of his go-to foods when he really does not like what I am making for dinner. But if I have too many things going on at once something that is cooking will end up going to waste. If I think it is bad I will not force or guilt anybody else to eat it. Here is my actual question: Can I make these nuggets ahead of time, freeze them, then reheat? Providing the end results are just as good as when they were first made. Have a great day!

Ditto the response on any gf flour. If you are looking for a great alternative to regular flour, I LOVE Better Batter! And their seasoned flour blend is to die for and are perfect on these nuggets! Betterbatter.org

Our crowd-pleasing Vegetarian Meatless Chicken Nuggets have a light, crispy breading and an amazing, tender meat-like texture that's even better than chicken nuggets made with meat. They have the awards to prove it!

Enjoy our veggie chicken nuggets as a quick and easy snack or a delicious meal that the whole family will enjoy. They're a simple swap into mealtimes and a real treat for kids. You won't regret swapping Quorn Meatless ChiQin Nuggets into your mealtimes today.

Preheat oven and a baking sheet to 425F. Place Quorn Meatless ChiQin Nuggets on the heated baking sheet. Bake nuggets for 15 minutes, flipping them half-way through cooking time for maximum crispiness.

The first time I tested this recipe I was blown away by just how crispy and flavorful these baked chicken nuggets were. The seasoning is based off my paleo chicken tenders (which I LOVE) but this time I was going for a version that was a little crunchier and one that could even give Chick-Fil-A a run for its money.

Besides dipping sauces (which are obviously key) I love serving these baked chicken nuggets with a hearty salad or veggies, baked sweet potato fries, or maybe a scoop of homemade mac and cheese. CAN I GET A YUM?! Grab these recipes for your next weeknight dinner:

In the fridge: leftover chicken nuggets can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for a week. To reheat, place the chicken nuggets on a baking sheet and broil them on high for a couple of minutes until heated through and crispy on the outside.

These chicken nuggets were delicious!! I made these last night. I did not have a wire rack so I turned them over a couple times!! I have a large family so I doubled the recipe. Needless to say they they all disappeared!!!

We made these for dinner last night and they were AMAZING! I am a huge chicken nugget fan but my husband usually is not and we both loved them! He even said they were the best chicken nuggets he had ever had and that we HAD to make them again soon. Thanks for the perfect recipe!! Easy and soooo yummy ?

These honestly were absolutely the BEST chicken nuggets! Who knew toasting the panko would make such a difference. I made these with the brussels sprout mac and cheese. Made both exactly as written. Since discovering this website, I cook at least 2 to 3 meals a week using your recipes. My goal is to make each recipe at least once.

Absolutely love these nuggets. They were so easy to make and my whole family devoured them, including the 3 and 1 year olds. I skipped the step of toasting the bread crumbs in the beginning and they still came out crunchy.

These chicken nuggets are a real favorite at our home. My boyfriend could eat them every day. They are super easy to make and give you that blissful fulfilled feeling. Thanks for the great recipe Monique!

These were seriously the best chicken nuggets. I was shy a half cup of panko so I added crushed up croutons and they were out of this world. The entire family loved them (and I have very picky teenagers). Will definitely be making these again.

Okay, I am back. I love how crispy these nuggets are. Deep frying is what I have been trying to perfect. I have also tried air frying and I think I am just going to go ahead and stick to this recipe. Quick, tasty and I hope my son enjoys them.

This recipe is excellent! We made 1/2 of our chicken nuggets exactly as written in the recipe. And, we made spicy buffalo nuggets with the other 1/2 of the chicken pieces. For the spicy batch, instead of the egg/milk mixture as written, we used 1 egg, 1 Tbsp of butter, and 1/2 cup of buffalo sauce. Otherwise, we used the same panko/spice mixture as well as the cooking technique as written. Both versions had a crispy crust and tender chicken. Yum!

This is by far the best chicken nugget recipe I have found! They are crispy and very favorfull. I love the fact there is no frying and yes the key to this recipe is to pre-toast the panko. I used seasoned panko and regular spray since that is what I had on hand. The breadcrumb portion are true to the 1-1/2 lbs of chicken nuggets so if you have more then I would adjust accordingly. I have been looking for a recipe that can be made ahead without losing the crispness and this does the job as long as you reheat in oven on the rack. I must say I rarely leave reviews on recipes but this is well worth the small effort. They are very quick to make and delicious

Ā Appliances vary. Heating times approximate.Ā

Air Fryer1. If desired, spray the bottom of wire tray with a light coat of vegetable oil.2. Fill tray either half full (9 frozen nuggets) or completely full (17-18 frozen nuggets).3. For best results, nuggets should not overlap each other. I. For a Half-Tray: use 300F for 9 minutes. (No need to preheat Air Fryer.) ii. For a Full Tray: use 300F for 10-11 minutes.4. Once done, use care in removing as both product and fryer pan will be HOT.5. Allow product to rest for 1 to 2 minutes prior to serving.

Please, more recipes without egg! My son is allergic and I would like to use some of these recipes but lots of them gave egg. It is a far more common allergy than what you would expect. E.g nuggets, banana muffins, vegetable muffins etc.

Made with 100% white meat chicken, these nuggets are an excellent source of protein and available for purchase for the first time in select retailers nationwide. Each 27-ounce bag includes nuggets in three festive and frightful shapes: pumpkins, bats and ghosts.

The bacteriological profile of raw, frozen chicken nuggets manufactured at a chicken processing facility in Queensland, Australia, was determined. Chicken nuggets are manufactured by grinding poultry, adding premixes to incorporate spices, forming the meat to the desired size and shape, applying a batter and breading, freezing, and packaging. A total of 300 frozen batches were analyzed for aerobic plate count, Escherichia coli, and Salmonella over a period of 4 years. The mean of the aerobic plate count was 5.4 log CFU/g, and counts at the 90th, 95th, and 99th percentiles were 5.7, 5.9, and 6.5 log CFU/g, respectively. The maximum number of bacteria detected was 6.6 log CFU/g. E. coli prevalence was 47%, and of the positive samples, the mean was 1.9 log CFU/g; counts at the 90th, 95th, and 99th percentiles were 2.3, 2.4, and 2.8 log CFU/g, respectively. The maximum number of E. coli was 2.9 log CFU/g. The Salmonella prevalence was 8.7%, and 57.7% of these isolates were typed as Salmonella subspecies II 4,12,[27]:b:[e,n,x] (Sofia), a low-virulence serotype well adapted to Australian poultry flocks. There was a significant relationship (P < 0.05) between season and both aerobic plate counts and E. coli counts, and no correlation between E. coli counts and Salmonella prevalence. This study provides valuable data on the bacteriological quality of raw, frozen chicken nuggets.

These tofu nuggets are better than any chicken option out there. While many nugget recipes are triple coated and then deep fried, I wanted to keep these light enough that my kids could eat them on a regular basis. Lightly coated then baked (or air-fried! Directions below) makes for crispy tofu nuggets that the whole family can enjoy.

Yes! These nuggets are great in the air fryer, especially if you prefer extra crispy tofu nuggets. I highly recommend spraying the coated nuggets with olive oil before cooking to achieve the typical golden exterior of fried foods.

I made these when my son left a package of tofu at our house. I have eaten tofu before but never made anything with it. Wow! I impressed myself. They were crispy and tasted 99% like chicken nuggets in my mind.

Baker did not patent chicken nuggets. Instead, he mailed the recipe to hundreds of American companies that would later profit from his invention. But it would take a new health trend for Americans to truly embrace the chicken nugget. be457b7860
