Barack Hussein Obama II was born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii. His mother called Ann Dunham and his father Barack Obama.
At the age of 35, Obama was elected to the Llinois Senate in 1996, representing the 13th district, which covered part of southern Chicago. And in 1998 he was re-elected to the Lllinois Senate.
On February 10, 2007, Obama announced his candidacy for the presidency of the United States and ended up winning, with 69.4 million votes. With his election, he became the first African American to be elected President of the United States, as well as the fifth youngest.
