About Mr. Brandt

Throughout my career, I have been blessed to work with some amazing students and educators who have helped shape me into the teacher I am today. After graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2014, I taught for 4 years at Lange Middle School as an 8th Grade History Teacher. I was fortunate enough to complete another degree from Mizzou, finishing my Masters in Educational Leadership in the summer of 2018. That same summer I accepted a position to teach 6th Grade Math at Discovery Middle.

My wife, Maria, is also a passionate educator who currently teaches Math at Liberty High School. We are both thrilled to be serving the students and families of Liberty Public Schools and we love the role we get to have as teachers and mentors for so many students.

In my free time I'm a hobbyist woodworker and love spending time in my shop. I also enjoying playing new board games with friends and family, and would love to recommend one for you to try! I tend to spend too much time watching sports, with the NBA and Mizzou Football being my main obsessions.

Most importantly, I love learning and I love seeing others learn. I'm passionate about growing my mind each and every day. My goal is to take that passion and bring it to my students in hopes that they themselves develop that same desire to never stop learning.
