Hi, I’m Terrance McGehee.
With more than two decades of experience in management and management training, I’ve walked the path of leadership development from the ground up, sometimes in steel-toe boots, sometimes in dress shoes, but always with purpose. My passion is helping individuals and teams unlock their full potential, and I do that through customized workshops and facilitation focused on Sustainable People Practices and Belonging, Comparative World Views, effective communication, and team dynamics.
I’m a Birkman Certified Professional, which means I’m trained in delivering The Birkman Method assessment, a powerful tool I use to guide both individuals and groups in understanding themselves and each other better. When people understand their wiring, the magic happens: collaboration strengthens, conflict lessens, and productivity rises, not to mention the workplace becomes a much healthier, more human space.
Outside of my private work, I serve as the Fellowship Program Lead at The Russell Family Foundation, supporting local leaders through Jane’s Fellowship Program (JFP)—a program I once proudly graduated from as part of Class 7. Before stepping into this role, I co-facilitated JFP as an independent contractor, helping coordinate and facilitate dialogues, works, and retreats for the Fellowship.
I also believe leadership is lived, not just taught. That’s why I stay engaged in my community, having volunteered with Habitat for Humanity Tacoma Pierce County and served as a facilitator and speaker with Stand for Children.
If you’re looking for a partner to help elevate your team’s potential, spark meaningful conversations, or simply navigate the complexities of working together with more intention, I’d love to connect.
