UP 69000 Assistant Teacher Result 2020: Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB), on 12 May, had released the result of Assistant Teacher Recruitment Exam 2020 (ATRE) on its official website. A total of 146060 candidates have qualified in the exam and approx 3 lakhs candidates appeared in ATR Exam conducted 06 January 2020. Yesterday, i.e. on 01 June 2020, UPBEB has uploaded the final merit list of the candidates are going to appear for counselling round. The counselling round will be held from tomorrow i.e. from 03 June to 06 June 2020

On 6th May 2020, the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court has declared the UP Assistant Teacher Final cut-off which is, 60% for reserved categories and 65% for the general category and has ordered the state government to complete the recruitment process in 3 months.
Earlier the cut-off for this recruitment exam was the same as the final decision but after high court intervention, the new cutoff was set to be 40% & 45%. This crucial hearing was pending in court for one and a half years and about 4 lakh students were waiting for the decision.

A proposal to recruit teachers through MPSC has been given to the government by the Education Commissionerate. The education department is trying to do the next teacher recruitment through MPSC. Will the next teacher recruitment be through MPSC? The question is being asked. However, until a decision is taken, the ongoing teacher recruitment process will be carried out in the same manner as it is currently.
Such a proposal has been sent to the government by the state education commissioner that the recruitment of teachers in the state should be done through MPSC. Education Secretary, MPSC is also reported to be positive about this proposal. However, to make the recruitment process through MPSC, there is a need to make some technical changes in the rules as well.
Education Commissioner Suraj Mandhare has said that the ongoing teacher recruitment will be completed till the process of changing the rules is completed. Therefore, the teacher recruitment will be done in the coming period, the education department will try to take that teacher recruitment through MPSC.
