Headquarters

About Us

Our group was founded in February of 2020 when we attempted to create a more realistic and team oriented environment in War Thunder Simulator Battles. Since then, the group has expanded to over 35 members ranging from all continents across the globe. The group grew to the skilled, trained, and recognized individuals which represent the 67th. The squad evolved to a near unstoppable fighting force in Combined Arms Simulator Battles in War Thunder and IL-2.

Realism

Our group puts great emphasis on realism; our goal is to make the experience as immersive as possible. The majority of the things taught in our trainings and guides are directly from U.S. Army Field Manuals, or adapted versions of them

Teamwork

Teamwork is one of the most important parts of our group. We use teamwork to its fullest extent, having every tank on the ground, and plane in the air working as one. This allows us to perform beyond what would be possible with randomly assigned teammates, and gives us great advantage in the battlefield.

Command Structure

The group has multiple branches of command, each responsible for one thing. High Command oversees the group and handles all decisions. While Armored Cavalry Command and Air Force Command manage the ground and air forces respectively.

Training Command

Learn More

Training Command along with Intelligence Command develop and train members on a variety of things, from the basics of radio communication to high altitude areal reconnaissance. Offensive Operations Section works closely with the 1st Battalion to train a small group to perform mission-specific tasks. Operations Command works to organize briefings and debriefings for all operations the group does in IL-2.

The group has grown to include over 35 members in 1st Battalion and 50 members in 3rd Battalion.

Training

We offer different kinds of trainings for different videogames and events to help in incorporating historical strategy into our gameplay

PLTC

Our Platoon Leader Training Course (PLTC) is a intensive 6 to 8 week program for a select group of people. Its goal is to train members to lead our 4 man squads in War Thunder. Up to 6 candidates take the course and learn about the basics of cover, concealment, positioning, offence, defense, movement, ambush, and more. The candidates then take a theoretical and practical exam, and the top scoring one is offered a position as a Platoon Leader and a seat in High Command. Platoon Leaders are expected to server as the group's role models for integrity, reliability, and discipline.

Technique Training

We offer different types of training for all members, where they can learn about different strategies and technics. These can range from simple basics to advance and complex techniques.

Live fire exercise in preparation for event

Event Training

Since we often attend War Thunder Custom Battle Events hosted by other servers, we offer a wide variety of trainings in the form of event preparations, such as Ground & Naval Artillery Training, and Air & Ground Reconnaissance Training.

IL-2 Training

We offer multiple trainings for IL-2, depending on the player's objective. Day 1 - "Tank Basics" serves to teach members the basics of driving and gunnery, as well as tank commanding. For more interested members, we offer Day 2 - "Leadership & Command" which covers advanced gunnery, as well as a deep dive into tank commanding and platoon-sized units.

About Training Command

Training Command is the branch of the group responsible for the unit's training and is composed by members both from 1st and 3rd Battalion, creating courses for both War Thunder and IL-2 Sturmovik. Training Command internalizes the motto of "Observe - Analyze - Execute" by training members to think critically and tactically analyze the situations they are put in to best adapt to the ever-chaining battlefield.

Target Hunt

Sd.Kfz. 234 "Puma"

From September 2020 to February 2021, the 67th created a challenge to destroy as many Pumas in War Thunder Simulator Battles as were produced during WWII. After 24 games, 478 pumas of all types were destroyed. A impressive 126 (26%) kills are attributed to the player firecharge and his Hurricane Mk.IIB.

T-34 747(r)

From August to September of 2020, the 67th kept count of all German captured T-34 tanks in WT SB due to the difficulty in destroying them with the 75mm gun on the M4. With the participation of 6 tanks and 2 aircraft, a total of 21 T-34s were destroyed. They were later removed from the Battle Rating bracket for balancing reasons.

Sd.Kfz. 251/22 "PakTruck"

Beginning on the first of January, 2022, the regiment has been tasked with destroying as many "PakTrucks" as possible, by any means available.
