WHO WE ARE

Team 6209 Venom is one of the ten world-renowned Vandegrift ViperBots FTC teams, located in Austin, Texas. Throughout the years, we have encouraged collaboration, unity, and Gracious Professionalism®, in both our team and community. We strive to build long lasting relationships with both companies and mentors, ensuring we spread FIRST® values and learn about STEM along the way.

OUR MISSION

Team Venom's mission is to learn science and engineering principles through participation in FIRST robotics programs, enabling us to create a strong, sustainable, and active FIRST hub in our community. Our team makes it a point to demonstrate true leadership in science, technology, engineering and math through our connections with other teams and the community. We also embrace the arts as our team specializes in designing intricate and fully functional robots, while also making them visually appealing to an audience. Fostering STEM is important to us, but so is STEAM; an inclusion of the arts into science to promote creativity in the technical field.
