Loosely based off of the 4th ICBT (Currahee) of the 101st Airborne Division, the 61st Mechanized Infantry Battalion is a tight-knit community that is devoted to creating a unique, immersive, and memorable ARMA 3 experience. Between Fun Ops for every flavor to dynamic, long-term campaigns directed by a team of Story Writers and executed by skilled Zeuses, the 61st Mechanized Infantry is here to bring you an immersive, modern US Combined Arms experience to the game. Using combined arms tactics with Infantry, Armored/Mechanized and Aviation support, the 61st offers a uniquely tactical, cooperative, and powerful Mil Sim unit for those looking for a semi-realistic, immersive, and tactics-focused Arma 3 community. If you want to enjoy a semi-realistic unit with heavy emphasis on cooperation and unit tactics, and a unit with plenty of positions for you to get the most joy out of your Mil Sim experience, then the 61st is the unit for you! 62 mods is all we run, if you are a seasoned mil-sim player many of them will be familiar to you, RHS, ACE, etc...

Do I have to attend a BCT?
Yes, BCT is a requirement, however certain circumstances may allow for exceptions.

Outlaw 1-2 "Geronimo" is looking for individuals interested in dominating the battlefield through Destruction of Enemy Light and Medium Armor: Utilize LAT (Light Anti-Tank) and HAT (Heavy Anti-Tank) kits to take out enemy armored threats.
Suppression of Enemy Movement and Hard Points: Use heavy firepower to pin down enemy forces and neutralize fortified positions.
Support Operations: Provide crucial support to Outlaw 1-1 and other infantry and armor assets with superior firepower.
Provide Support by Fire: Lay down suppressive fire to enable friendly forces to maneuver and engage the enemy effectively. Deliver Accurate and Effective Fire: Use your skills to deliver precise and impactful fire on enemy positions, ensuring mission success.
