Cleaning Pennies Lab Report
Question
How does changing the chemical that the penny soaks in affect how clean the penny becomes?
or
Does chaning the chemical a penny soaks in affect how clean the penny is?
Or write your own hypothesis.
Research
Vinegar is an acid.
Salt has an inoic bond.
Salt speeds up mixing of ingredients? (Not sure)
Pennies are made of copper.
Copper oxidizes when air touches it.
Coins are round and have weight.
Hypothesis
If the coin is put into vinegar, then it will become clean (because the vinegar is an acid and will break the rust off the coin). (What is in paranthesis is extra.)
