"What are logical Notions?" is a paper published in the journal History and Philosophy of Logic, Volume 7, Issue 2 (1986), pp.143-154 in the name of authors Alfred Tarski and John Corcoran. This paper is first on its journal's most-cited list. It has been reprinted in The Limits of Logic, edited by S. Shapiro (1996).
Alfred Tarski gave a talk on this topic on April 20, 1973, at the State University of New York at Buffalo, USA, attended by John Corcoran who tanscribed it. His transcription was approved by Tarski but published only after his death.
Tarski gave a similar talk May 16, 1966, at Bedford College, the University of London, UK and at Brsitol University at approxiametly the same time, as reported by Rohit Parikh. Michael Dunn reported that he attended also a similar one at Rice University (Houston, USA), in January 1967 (Both reports by privata email to JYB).
Tarski himself says in this paper that the idea of characterizing logical notions in such a way already appears in a paper by Lindenbaum and himself published in 1936, see here.
