5dM remote is an iPhone remote control app for compatible LG Smart TVs.

Getting Started

Make sure your iPhone and LG TV are connected to the same local network. Open 5dM remote and follow these steps to connect to your TV.

1) With the TV on, click "Discover" in the app.  If successful, the TV's IP address should display and the "Pair" option presents.

2) Click "Pair" and the TV should prompt for pairing.  With the TV's original physical remote, click "YES".  If successful, the app should display the TV model.

3) Allt he buttons are now enabled, and you can toggle "Disconnect/Connect" to enable/disable them, respectively.

Troubleshooting

If the app cannot connect to your TV, make sure Local Network access is enabled for 5dM remote in your iPhone settings.
