Most Cub Scouts celebrate Scouting Anniversary Week in February with a "birthday party" called the blue and gold banquet. In nearly all packs, the blue and gold banquet is the highlight of the year. It brings families together for an evening of fun and cheer. It's often the pack meeting for February.
The purpose of the blue and gold banquet is to celebrate the pack's anniversary, thank pack leaders, and other adults who have helped the pack. Also during our Blue and Gold Banquet, we will have our 2nd year Webelos Scout Bridging Ceremony. These Webelos Scouts have completed their Cub Scout Journey and will be joining the Boy Scouts. This is a Pack Meeting you don’t want to miss. There will be a special ceremony performed by the Order of the Arrow to bridge these Webelos to Boy Scouts. We will also be recognizing all Dens for their progress and achievements.
There is no cost for attending and dinner will be provided. In order to properly plan, we need everyone to RSVP as soon as possible to Ben Burrows at bburrows@goodwillindy.org
If you are interested in helping with this event, please let Ben know also.
