Hi there!
My name is Jessica Brown, and I have been teaching fifth grade at Hawthorne Elementary for four years. Prior to working at Hawthorne, I was a PACE specialist at Emerson Elementary and Madison Elementary, teaching third through fifth grade PACE math and reading. Before working in District 200, I taught all-day kindergarten in Schaumburg.
I reside in Elmhurst with my husband, my four-year-old son, and my two Australian cattle dogs, Django and Harley Quinn. I enjoy walking my dogs, running, biking, spending time with my family, and teaching, of course!
My favorite part of being a teacher is working with my students and their families and learning new things every day!
