Corporation Beach and Howes Street Beach are two of the most popular, family friendly beaches on Cape Cod. These sandy, bayside beaches are each a short walk from the house. (These beaches are adjoined but have different parking lots). You are close enough for a stroll to the shore with your morning coffee to watch the sunrise or to enjoy the sunset at the end of a glorious summer day. No need to wait in line or pay to park. Just pack up when you are ready and head to the beach! Check the tide chart to plan your day. At low tide, the water recedes and reveals huge flats great for exploring and walking. The Corporation Beach side has restrooms, snack shack and swings. The Howes Street Beach side is typically less crowded.
Princess Beach is a quaint freshwater pond beach that is a short drive from the house (194 Scargo Hill Road). The small, sandy beach area has shade along the tree line. Also, it has a lifeguard and restrooms open during the summer. It's a nice option for younger swimmers if you want to take a break from the larger, ocean beaches. Parking sticker required during the day.
The Town of Dennis offers a one week sticker for $100 or a daily pass for $35 (credit card only) if you'd like to explore more of the Dennis beaches. Visit the Town of Dennis website HERE for more information.
