Who We Are
Who We Are
We are Subzero Robotics Team 5690, and we have proudly competed for 12 seasons as part of the FIRST Robotics Competition. Each year, our team designs, builds, and programs a custom robot from the ground up to compete in challenges against teams from across the country and even the world! FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is an international program that combines engineering, teamwork, and innovation, where high school students work alongside mentors to solve a new game challenge each season. Through this experience, we develop skills in mechanical design, programming, leadership, and collaboration while representing our community in competitive events.

Why We Fundraise
Our robotics team is hosts an annual silent auction fundraiser to help cover the costs of equipment, robot materials, supplies, and event transportation. Building and competing requires specialized tools and components, and these expenses add up quickly. Every dollar raised directly supports students as they design, build, and program their robots while gaining valuable hands-on experience. Your support helps prepare our team members for bright futures in STEM and related fields.
