For Active Participants
Active participants may register untill November 31st
Important: Abstracts of all received papers are continuously published on our webpage. Their inclusion into the main schedule, or their inclusion into the poster section will be decided after the call for papers deadline (October 31st).
Language-wise the conference will take a hybrid form: the working languages will be primarily Czech and Slovak with several talks or blocks will be presented in English.
The talks will also be held in a hybrid form: both on location and on Zoom. Number of online talks will be limited.
Please send us the name of your talk both in English and in Czech (to give a better overview of other participants). Please specify the language in which you are going to give your talk. Czech and Slovak languages take priority, because of a predominantly local audience. We encourage English texts in your presentation.
Abstracts are to be sent in English, nevertheless, we will accept them in Czech or Slovak.
The subjects of the talk will be distributed into mutually related sections. In case of scheduling limitations for your talk, specify your preference in your application.
Standard duration of a talk is 20 minutes including a discussion, plenary talks duration is between 30 and 40 minutes. Should there be a high number of talks given in person, time allocation for online talks will be reduced.
A projector, a pointer, a mouse and a keyboard and audio equipment will be available. Using your own laptop will be possible in special cases.
All presentations have to be uploaded onto the available computer before each section begins.
Students of high schools and universities can sign up for the Student’s section which will take place on Friday, November 17th. This section has a form of a competition. The winning talk will be announced on Saturday as a part of a presentation of the Variable Stars and Exoplanet Section.
Talks will be uploaded and made public on our Youtube channel (on the condition of the speaker’s consent).
