Base Camp @540crawlers Comp

Competition Overview:

 Join the @540Crawlers for an exciting crawling competition featuring prebuilt SCX24 Base Camp rigs! This event focuses on driver skill and strategy, with all participants using similarly prepared rigs to ensure a level playing field. Navigate a challenging 10-gate course and aim to complete it in under 6 minutes with the fewest penalties.

 Contestants can provide their rigs following the build specks. 

We will be looking for sponsors to buy the Base camps and advertise their business or cause.

I have also contacted LGRP for tires, RC4WD for wheels, and Injora for a discount code.

Competition Structure:

Equipment:

• All participants will use prebuilt SCX24 Base Camp rigs.

• No modifications or tuning are allowed on competition day to maintain fairness.

• Rigs will be inspected before the competition to ensure compliance.

Crawling Competition:

• Course Layout: 10 gates featuring varied obstacles, including rocks, inclines, bridges, and tight turns.

• Time Limit: 6 minutes to complete the course.

• Scoring System:

  • Gate Touch: +5 points

  • Missed Gate: +10 points

  • Rollovers (self-righted): +3 points

  • Winch Usage: +2 points

  • Time Bonus: -1 point per 30 seconds remaining

  • The lowest total points wins.
