My husband and I had the good fortune of spending a weekend at this lovely property at Plum Creek. The setting is placid and serene with plenty of opportunity to enjoy nature! We had a lovely walk and when the weather turned, there were plenty of beautifully curated cozy nooks to escape with a book or take a nap. Later on we wandered the area and enjoyed visiting the charming and tidy little community of Eustis, Nebraska where we enjoyed a memorable meal at the German fest in their senior center. This property is lake life and small town living at its best. We recommend it wholeheartedly.

Oh... how we have loved gathering for the holidays at this upscale lodge. The hostesses make the lodge feel like our home away from home. Even our children and their families are excited when we get to gather at this lodge and experience stunning views, perched up high surrounded by water on three sides, looking out on the lake through the 3-story windows. For a moment, it’s almost like being in Colorado. Sometimes we get lucky and see wildlife roaming around, like a red fox jetting across the iced-over lake. The lodge view is graced with beautiful sunrises and sunsets laced with God's signature. There are great memories shared among the smells of delicious foods with a buffet full of food and desserts, and a large table to accommodate all. The day is full of playing games, sharing stories of family memories, with children playing and laughing. At the end of the day, we feel blessed, with full tummies and warm hearts looking forward to experiencing the next family gathering and making more memories to add to the books.

Our team has stayed for a whole week at 53 Plum Creek Retreat for several years in a row now…we use it for our training retreat. Each time we walk in, we are blown away with how beautiful and tastefully decorated the home is. The spacious bedrooms allow for plenty of space for families or large groups. The large living areas are perfect for big gatherings, but also allow for several little groups to gather at the same time, due to the number of living areas available. The wrap around deck gives panoramic views of the lovely lake, and the privacy of the home makes you feel like you are in a beautiful, private mountain area. The kitchen is large and perfect for entertaining, and there is plenty of space to eat either inside, or on the beautiful deck. This lake home definitely has everything you need to get away, relax and recharge.

A breath of Heaven tucked away in the trees complete with a lakeside view. That is how to describe this gorgeous retreat center. We held a “Get Away Day with Jesus” there and it was the perfect venue. It was a peaceful center with big open rooms and floor plan, which was warm and welcoming. This amazing newly built retreat center accommodated our group of 20 with room for more. The hostess was a rare jewel that lavished her culinary creations upon us making everyone feel spoiled with breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages. The two story home with a wrap around covered deck offered many spaces for our breakout sessions, mini massages, and personal quiet time/ prayer/ reflection. Booking 53 Plum Creek Retreat Center was the best decision we made! Book this retreat center with confidence knowing it is proven and will not disappoint you.

My friends and I had such a great time staying at the
Plum Creek lake home. It was very clean with lovely decor and all essentials in order. The kitchen and living areas were beautiful with plenty of comfy seating, and the views of the water from the windows and wrap-around porch were so serene and lovely. The multiple bedrooms and beds made sleeping arrangements easy. It was the perfect cabin get-away in central Nebraska. I would book again. The hostess was great at communicating with us and checked to make sure we were OK during our stay. Highly recommended!
