... marks 51 years of marriage. We celebrated with a Montecito get-away. We found a VRBO in Monecito - a 100 year old barn that once belonged to an heir to the McCormick fortune - in the Riven Rock district. It's been converted into a residence, and survived the devastating 2017 mudslides.

We hiked the trail up the hill through magnificant estate properties to a natural hot-springs. We jumped in - like a spa - into 100 degree water.
