What is 50 Homeless?
50 Homeless is a challenge to try and help 50 homeless people by creating Fifty homeless backpacks . You are being asked to create one of the 50.
The homeless backpacks are each compiled by the 50 people invited to help create them or simply by choice for a charity challenge for this year. The backpacks currently cost around £60 to create so each person invited here will create their own backpack from a downloadable homeless backpack list here. They will then be looking for friends and family to sponsor towards their homeless backpack(s). We have many months to get £60 of sponsorship to compile the homeless backpack list. Sponsorship Forms are available.

50 Backpacks by 50 People
You are here because someone has invited you from the invite link here with the challenge invitation to join 50 people to help create one of the backpacks. Each person will then seek sponsorship of a total £60 to buy and create the backpack.
Each homeless backpack x50 members of your group can get a group photo with your backpacks ready to hand out to your local homeless people or to our local homeless shelter. A date of 19th April is set for completion of all 50 x homeless backpacks. Yours is all you need to compile (unless you think you can create more?)
Business Owners can offer to create more than one so we can add your logos onto our website. Also, we may add a Wall Of FAME to those who have helped each
50 Homeless Campaign.

We have a set date of 19th April 2020 for when we hope to have all 50 backpacks complete.
We want to gather all of our group together with backpacks for a photo & celebration 19th April 2020 on Weston promenade.
Start handing out our backpacks to local homeless people, we will be handing over remaining bags to our local homeless support shelter.
Be Proud, help those who are less fortunate, making a positive change to our community really matters.

We were very grateful for the support of The Billy Chip charity for supplying 50 Billy Chips to our 50 backpacks. These Chips are an essential way for anyone who is homeless to be able to purchase a meal or drink in the UK. The Billy Chip was created from the amazing story of the late Billy Abernethy-Hope who wanted to help the homeless.......today Billy's legacy continues and helps the homeless across the UK. By donating just £2 it buys a Billy Chip and can potentially make a homeless persons day a little better. https://www.billychip.com
