Native Henna
Native Henna
Jagua has been cultivated and used by the native tribes of South America and the Caribbean. Jagua is known by Huito, Hawa, The Marmalade Box, and it is a fruit that is mixed with lemon juice and essential oils.
Jagua can stain the skin for up to a month! Time varies depending on kins types and after care. Tribes of Caribbean, Central, and South America have been decorating their bodies for thousands of years with jagua fruit! While traditional henna may stain the face and other areas on the body, such as the neck and head just faintly, Jagua will stain all parts of the body. Great for temporary facial, neck and head tattoos.
Jagua tattoos stain a blue/black color. Jagua stains the top layer of the skin and anything like rubbing unnecessarily will cause the skin to fall off faster, thus fading the tattoo prematurely. Let the jagua dry completely before peeling off the jagua. Jagua peels like Elmer's glue. Let the jagua stay on the skin for 3 hours. When done peeling off, wash the area with soap and water.
The Jagua will gradually get darker and darker as time goes by. Peak stain color can be seen around 48 hours after jagua has been applied.
Jagua can be purchased with 504 henna. To order, call or send an email to 504henna@gmail.com
