This squirting shellfish is rare to find; it's usually at the bottom of the ocean floor. I was fortunate to catch this crab in action squirting water out of its mouth as it pushes back the sand to quickly bury itself back under the sand.

I came across this green anole out warming itself in the summer sun. I love the striking red color of his dewlap (the flap of skin on his throat) which vibrantly stands out amongst the green and aqua blue colors.

The raccoon is an interesting animal with its black mask. Caught in the act of fishing, this little bandit was looking to enjoy its lunch time meal. The raccoon's reflection is shown in the ripples in the water.

What a unique opportunity to capture this raccoon on a mid-afternoon, fishing in winter. This is a split-second capture with placement of the raccoon on the frozen water not hiding behind any reeds.

A powerful connection is shown here as this inquisitive fox takes a split second stare before it continues along on its journey. This shows the natural behavior of this curious wild animal.
